Tobias Karcher SJ, Director

Born in 1961 in Weinheim near Heidelberg. Studies in philosophy, theology and social sciences in Freiburg/Br., Paris, Frankfurt and Munich. Joined the Jesuit Order in 1989. Postgraduate studies in Boston and Detroit. 2002 - 2009 Tobias Karcher directed the Heinrich Pesch Haus in Ludwigshafen/Rhein. Tobias Karcher has directed Lassalle-Haus since 2009 and Lassalle-Institut since 2016.

- Distinguishing and deciding in everyday leadership
- Teaching the basics of virtue ethics and ethics of action
- Discourse on Christian social ethics in today's corporate context and business ethics.
Prof. Dr. Peter Stücheli-Herlach

Peter Stücheli-Herlach is Professor of Organizational Communication and Public Sphere at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and a member of the institute's management (on mandate). He studied philosophy, literature and politics at the University of Zurich and the Free University of Berlin and received his doctorate from the University of Zurich in 1998. Subsequently, he was editor and deputy department head (Zurich and region) of the Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ).

Theo Haas, Academic Assistant

Theo Haas is a research associate at the Lassalle-Institut. After graduating from high school, he studied Catholic theology and economics in Freiburg i.Br. and Erfurt. He completed his Master's degree in “Religion-Economics-Politics” at the Universities of Lucerne, Basel and Zurich in summer 2024 and is currently pursuing his doctorate at the Munich School of Philosophy on the topic of “Water as a global common good”.

- Ethical decision making
