Activities

Lassalle-Institut implements its guidelines (see „vision“) in the following ways:

Methods of resolution and fields of activities

A multidimentionsl, interlinked procedure is vital to a conflict which originated from complex religious, political and economic battles and infringements. Therefore, Lassalle-Institut combines several methods of conflict resolution in the Jerusalem project:

Activities at the United Nations (UNO)
Regular visits of the team to the UN headquarters in New York in order to inform the members of various UN bodies, the Road Map authors as well as the Israeli and Palestinian representatives about the development of the project, and to involve them in the realization of the vision.

Activities in Jerusalem
Regular visits of the team to Jerusalem for networking. Together with our cooperation partners from East and West Jerusalem and surrounding areas, the vision „Jerusalem – Open City for Learning World Peace“ is further developed and implemented in projects. Lassalle-Institut has been running an office in Jerusalem since January 2007.

Basic activities and conferences in Switzerland
Lassalle-Institut in Bad Schoenbrunn respectively its Jerusalem office are continuously further developing the project, embodying it in Switzerland, preparing conferences at Lassalle-Haus, visiting Jerusalem and the United Nations Headquarters in New York, doing fundraising and other activities.

Spiritual Field Development
Modern physics and mysticism agree that thoughts, emotions as well as words carry energy. With the aim of overcoming warlike conflicts, the project directors have developed concepts, methods and rituals to foster peaceful thinking, speaking and acting.
