Maria-Christina Eggers

Jerusalem Projekt Co-Worker in Jerusalem MA, Dipl. Psych. IAP, Member of the Katharina-Werk

Maria-Christina Eggers has been working as a Lassale-Institut volunteer for the Jerusalem Project since the end of 2006.

For many years she was a member of the Katharina-Werk leadership team and was responsible for new members' spiritual training.

Since 2000 she has led the annual International Peace Camps initiated by Pia Gyger at Haus Fernblick (Teufen AR, Switzerland, the Katharina-Werk's educational center). Her commitment to healing the wounds left by the Holocaust led her to make the Middle East a focal point of the peace camps. She has lived in Jerusalem since September 2005, where she is project director of Beit Catarina, a house where the children of Abraham can meet and engage in the process of reconciliation.
