History
In 1993 Niklaus Brantschen repositioned the training center Bad Schönbrunn, located in Edlibach ZG, renaming it as - Lassalle-Haus - and giving it a new identity: "Center for Spirituality, Dialogue and Responsibility". Many have strived to find a balance between their inner and outer paths at Lassalle-Haus, gaining an ever-increasing sense of responsibility and purpose.
In order to explicitly promote social awareness and action, Niklaus Brantschen and Pia Gyger founded the "Institute for Spiritual Consciousness in Politics and Business" (ISPW) - the present Lassalle-Institut - in the autumn of 1995.
Receipt of the Raiffeisenbanks' Ethics Prize to the amount of CHF 100'000, significantly accelerated efforts to promote sustainability and ethics (based on comprehensive spiritual experience) in the Institut's work. Additionally, the importance of more explicitly addressing target groups was recognized. The result of this process is the Lassalle-Institut: Zen. Ethics. Leadership.
